Just like all wedi building boards, the wedi building board has a blue core made from extruded polystyrene foam. On the smooth side of the building board premium, a glass-fibre network is incorporated into the plaster so that there is a smooth, cement finish. Furthermore, there is a taper edge to the left and right of this finish so that, following reinforcement and filing of the joints between the boards, a flush surface is obtained.
