ROUND FUNDOS ARE 'WELCOMBED'

Thirteen wedi Fundo Round Shower enclosures and bases have been recently installed in the new Health Spa and Timeshare Apartments extension at the magnificent Menzies Welcombe Hotel at Stratford-on-Avon.

The extension has been constructed to incorporate a Grade 11 listed stable block adjoining the hotel.

The Menzies Welcombe is acknowledged as one of England‘s leading Country House Hotels and includes an 18 hole championship golf course within its 157 acres of parklands and gardens.

The round Fundos were specified by architects Morrison Design after they were introduced to the concept at a recent Interbuild Exhibition.

Les Witney of Morrison Design said “The Wedi Fundo Round concept offered us exactly what we wanted - a self-contained, simple, tileable and dramatic solution to compliment the stylish and minimalist concept of the spa changing rooms and treatment rooms.

The Fundo Round units were supplied by Wedi distributors Maurice Parker of Derby and installation was carried out by B & K Building Services Ltd.
